The short version
We collect only what we need to run our business and serve you. We never sell your data. Your business data never trains public AI models. You can ask us what we hold about you, and you can ask us to delete it.
What we collect
When you contact us or book a call: your name, email, company, and whatever you choose to tell us about your business. When you use the free assessment: your answers, which stay in your browser unless you choose to send them to us — no email is required. When you browse the site: basic, privacy-respecting analytics (pages visited, approximate region). We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
How we use it
To reply to you, to prepare for conversations you've asked for, to deliver services you've engaged us for, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. That's it.
Client data in automation projects
When we build automations for your business, we access only the systems and data the engagement requires. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Your data is never used to train public AI models, and access inside our team follows a minimum-necessary principle. Full details are in our Security Policy and each client's Data Processing Agreement.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to operate (e.g., email and scheduling tools), under contracts that limit how they may use it — and when the law requires it. We never sell it.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@recoveredhours.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Client project data is retained for the term of the engagement plus any period required by the agreement, then deleted.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged to active clients directly.
